SALISBURY ABROAD PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT GRANTS
Open to faculty interested in spending a period of time abroad with one of SU's strategic 小蓝视频 Abroad global partners teaching, lecturing, collaborating with colleagues, developing joint research projects, or engaging in other professional development
Sponsoring SU faculty members and/or academic departments can apply to the University to host an Exchange Visitor Short-Term Scholar or Professor. Only sponsoring SU faculty members and/or academic departments may initiate the process to host an Exchange Visitor Short-Term Scholar/Professor.

STUDY ABROAD ADVISING RESOURCES FOR FACULTY
ADDITIONAL INTERNATIONAL PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR FACULTY
CIEE International Faculty Development Seminars are intensive educational experiences designed to explore fascinations, challenge preconceptions, and open eyes to global issues shaping the world today. Each program features lectures, site visits, and discussions with overseas academics and colleagues. Participants return to campus poised to incorporate an international dimension into administration, course design, research, and teaching.
This program provides grants to support overseas projects in training, research, and curriculum development in modern foreign languages and area studies for teachers, students, and faculty engaged in a common endeavor. Projects may include short-term seminars, curriculum development, group research or study, or advanced intensive language programs.
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is a publicly-funded independent organization of higher education institutions in Germany. Our 14 international offices provide information as well as financial support to over 50,000 highly-qualified students and faculty per year for international research and study. Faculty support ranges from funding for conferences to language programs in Germany.
The East-West Center is an education and research organization established by the U.S. Congress in 1960 to strengthen relations and understanding among the peoples and nations of Asia, the Pacific, and the United States. The Center contributes to a peaceful, prosperous, and just Asia Pacific community by serving as a vigorous hub for cooperative research, education, and dialogue on critical issues of common concern to the Asia Pacific region and the United States. The Center offers a variety of professional development opportunities for faculty and professional staff in higher education.

NAFSA is the acronym for the National Association of International Educators. NAFSA serves the field of international education—professionals in international education, institutions of higher education, and international and U.S. study abroad students—by providing a number of grant opportunities.
Rotary Grants for University Teachers provide funds to higher education faculty to travel abroad to teach at colleges and universities in developing countries. The program is intended to build international understanding and foster development while strengthening higher education in low-income countries.
