Ryan Habermeyer
Research Interests
My specialty is in creative writing with an emphasis in fiction and experimental prose narrative. I am the author of the short story collections, "Salt Folk" and 鈥淭he Science of Lost Futures." My scholarly research focuses on transnational fairy tales, world mythology, and the cultural history of the monstrous and grotesque. I welcome any and all discussions on that which is weird, bizarre, strange, otherworldly, cryptic, absurd, satirical, spectral, uncanny or otherwise inexplicable.
