SALISBURY, MD---The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter weather advisory for Wicomico County and surrounding areas from 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 25-2 a.m. Wednesday, March 26.
Precipitation is expected to begin as a wintery mix this afternoon, changing to all snow by early evening as temperatures drop. Accumulations of 2-4 inches are forecasted, with the heaviest snow falling between 8 p.m. and midnight. The NWS also is predicting winds up to 25 mph.
The SU community is encouraged to monitor local media and check the SU website for any updates, including delays or cancellations.
