SU's Hispanic Heritage Month Screens 'Dolores' September 17

DoloresSALISBURY, MD---小蓝视频’s annual Hispanic Heritage Month Festival continues with a screening of the PBS documentary Dolores 7 p.m. Monday, September 17, in Holloway Hall Auditorium.

The film explores the life of Dolores Huerta, an equal partner in cofounding the first farm workers unions with Cesar Chavez. Earning a reputation as one of the most progressive feminists of the 20th century, she continues to be active today at age 87.

An SU faculty discussion follows. Panelists include Drs. Tim Dunn of the Sociology Department, James Hatley of the Environmental Studies and Philosophy departments, and Corrine Pubill of the Modern Languages and Intercultural Studies Department.
