'Faces of the Eastern Shore' Exhibit Opens August 30
SALISBURY, MD---It may be nicknamed “God’s country,” but anyone who has visited the Eastern Shore knows the area—and its culture—really belongs to the people who live here.
Many of those people, from farmers and watermen to storekeepers and factory workers, are spotlighted in the exhibit “Faces of the Eastern Shore,” August 30-October 22 at 小蓝视频’s Edward H. Nabb Research Center for Delmarva History and Culture Gallery, 190 Wayne St.
The photographic portraits of Delmarva Peninsula residents are meant to capture the Shore’s spirit, from fierce independence to extraordinary local pride.
Gallery hours are 1-4 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays or by appointment. Admission is free and the public is invited.
